We had a great summer!  The kids started off with the swim team.  They made us proud.  Jack has a beautiful free-style.  (Look out Michael Phelps!) We have a lot of ribbons to show for their hard work.  It was a good year for our pool as well.  The kids are at a great age for swimming.

Jack also had a good season in baseball.  We finished up swim and baseball in the same week with a few weeks of summer left. It was great for hanging out with friends and swimming in our pool.

We also had Chuck and Margaret’ s 50th wedding anniversary.  It turned out beautifully.  It was a great time for seeing friends and family.

8-8-08  the Olympics started in Beijing.  It was awesome watching opening ceremonies!  There have been so many informational shows on t.v. about China with the Olympics being there.  It has been fantastic to learn about Beijing and Guangzhou.  Two cities we will probably go to when we are in China.  I couldn’t help but think about Ava.  Thinking if she has been born yet and if she is, where is she?   How old is she? I just can’t stand it!!!  When will we know??

August 12th the kids went back to school.  Jack started 3rd grade and Lauren went to 1st.  Lauren went from half day to full day!  So far it has been great!

August 13th my life changed as I am now married to a 40 year old man!  Happy Birthday Honey!!
